Burning Discs in El Capitan
For those of you who are lucky enough to have upgraded to Mac OS X El Capitan, if you are in need of burning an ISO image the Disk Utility application is no longer able to do this for you.

After managing a number of Java projects with Maven, the 2.1 release of the Twig Cassandra JDBC driver fork has prompted me to revisit the build process. This was a significant rewrite of the existing Apache driver, and incorporated a build process that leveraged the maven-assembly-plugin to produce a JAR with all of the dependencies included.

It seems that many of the 2015 headlines continue to gravitate towards security and customer privacy concerns. In fact, the exposure of customer data by MCX has proven to be nearly an insurmountable hurdle for CurrenC which now leaves Apple Pay as the leader in this space.
