Oil production peaked here in the United States in 1970, and since then it has been in an irreversible decline. What is even more alarming is that global peak oil production may in fact already be happening and by 2010 we will begin to experience a shortfall of billions of barrels a day.

Comcast has been throtteling BitTorrent transfers. This is going to make legitimate seeding of torrent downloads virtually impossible, and it is the result of a community of illegal downloads has been built up around this.

For the longest time it seemed like my NEC ND-3500AG refused to burn anything. While there were a few spindles of older discs that worked, a new stack of Magnavox DVD-R produced nothing but coasters.
